Chili Beans
Chili Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. dry beans (pinto, kidney or october beans or a combination), 1 qt. stewed tomatoes, 1 c. dry barley, 1 large onion, diced and 1 green pepper, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook beans and barley according to package directions in large pot with onion, pepper and celery.
Add stewed tomatoes, tomato paste and remaining ingredients.
Add beans and simmer 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
