Chili Beans
Chili Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. hamburger meat, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper, 1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder and 1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Combine all ingredients except tomato sauce in heavy skillet. Cook until meat loses its pink color and onion becomes transparent. Add tomato sauce and simmer 30 minutes to an hour.
Put with one can pintos and 1 can kidney beans.
Brown meat and add other ingredients and simmer on low all day in crock-pot.
