Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 3/4 c. chopped green pepper, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 clove garlic, minced and 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In a large kettle, cook ground beef, green pepper, onion and garlic until meat is browned.
Drain off fat.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, basil and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
Bring to boiling.
Add bouillon cube.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
