Chili
Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground round, 4 onions, chopped, 3 tbsp. chili powder, 1 can beef consomme and 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes with liquid, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Brown meat; add onions.
Cook until soft.
Add chili powder; let cook 5 minutes, then add all ingredients except vinegar. Simmer 2 to 3 hours.
Add vinegar about 10 minutes before removing from heat.
(I prefer to add beans about halfway through cooking.) Serves 6 to 8.
