Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 lb. coarsely ground meat, 1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic, 1/2 pod dried red pepper, 1/4 c. chili powder and 1 c. chopped onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook until gray before adding water.
Bring to boil over low heat (175° to 200°) for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender and flavors are thoroughly blended.
Stir occasionally.
If mixture becomes thicker than desired, add boiling water.
