Chile Verde
Chile Verde is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium size round steak, 1 small onion, 1 fresh tomato, 1 small can ortega diced chiles (blue label) or el paso and 1 medium can whole tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cut steak into small cubes; brown in oil.
Add chopped onion and fresh tomato.
Blend chiles, whole tomatoes and cilantro (chopped in blender).
Add to meat.
Add seasonings.
Cook for 1 1/2 hours on top of stove.
Add flour and water when almost done to thicken.
Add more water if texture is too gooey.
Serves 4 to 6.
