Chicken Pot Pie
Chicken Pot Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. margarine, butter or chicken fat, 1/3 c. self-rising flour, 1/3 c. chopped onion, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 3/4 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Heat margarine over low heat until melted.
Blend in flour, onion, salt and pepper.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in broth and milk; heat to boiling, stirring.
Boil and stir for 1 minute.
Stir in chicken and vegetables; set aside.
Pour into prepared pie crust.
Top pie crust.
Cut slits in top.
Bake in a 435Β° oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until crust is brown.
