Chicken Pie
Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 4 minutes. Made with whole chicken, mixed vegetables, drained, boiled eggs, shredded, celery or mushroom soup and c. chicken broth (use broth chicken was boiled in), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook chicken and remove from bone (overnight in crock-pot). Place in large casserole dish.
Add veggies and shredded eggs. Mix soup and chicken broth; pour on top.
Add 1/2 cup more broth to keep from drying out.
Mix flour, milk and butter well; pour over chicken mixture.
Do not stir!
Cook at 400Β° until top browns, about 30 to 40 minutes.
