Chicken Pie
Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (2 1/2 lb.) chicken, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 tsp. black pepper, 2 c. chicken broth and 1 stick margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cook the chicken in salted water until done; remove from bones.
Place in greased casserole dish.
In saucepan, mix the chicken broth and soup.
Bring to boil and pour over chicken.
In a bowl, mix the flour, buttermilk, margarine and pepper to form batter; spoon batter over broth.
Bake at 425Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
(Oven temperatures vary; it may take a little longer to become golden brown.)
