Chicken Pie
Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 medium onion, sliced, 3/4 c. chopped celery, 2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) condensed cream of celery soup and 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat in hot butter, cook onions and celery until tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in soup, milk and Worcestershire sauce until well blended.
Add chicken, vegetables and potatoes.
Heat through, stirring occasionally. Spoon into baking dish, set aside.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
On a floured surface, roll pastry 1-inch large all around the baking dish.
With knife, cut pastry into 3/4-inch strips.
Crisscross over the soup mixture to form lattice top.
Bake 30 minutes.
