Chicken Palermo
Chicken Palermo is an easy dinner. Made with 6 chicken breast halves, skinned and deboned, 6 mozzarella cheese slices, 1/4 c. butter, 1 c. bread crumbs (we use seasoned bread crumbs) and 1 small jar spaghetti sauce with onions and mushrooms or your own marinara sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 400°.
Melt butter in baking dish.
Flatten breasts with the edge of a knife or pound slightly.
Place one slice of cheese on each chicken piece and roll cheese inside. Roll each chicken piece in butter, then in bread crumbs.
Place in the baking dish and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
Top with sauce and bake 10 minutes longer.
