Chicken-Mac Casserole
Chicken-Mac Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained, 6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled, 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken, 1 can french fried onions and 1 can cream of mushroom soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 375°.
In saucepan, plate hot macaroni, bacon, chicken and 1/2 can onions.
In medium bowl, combine soup, sour cream, spinach, garlic powder and 1 cup Cheddar cheese.
Spoon half macaroni mixture into greased 8 x 12-inch baking dish.
Cover with half spinach mixture.
Repeat layers.
Bake, covered, at 375° for 30 minutes or until heated through.
Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown.
