Chicken Livers
Chicken Livers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 1 medium onion, minced, 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced, salt and pepper to taste and 1 c. instant rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat 1/4 cup margarine in heavy saucepan.
Add onion and saute 2 to 3 minutes.
Add mushrooms and cook 5 minutes.
Add rice and stir until rice just begins to brown.
Stir in boiling broth. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
Add a little more broth if mixture is too dry.
Saute livers in remaining margarine, after dusting them with flour, until done.
Add seasoning.
Stir gently into rice mixture.
