Chicken Elegante
Chicken Elegante is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices dried beef, 4 whole chicken breasts, boned and halved, 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1 c. dairy sour cream and 1/2 c. slivered almonds, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Heat oven to 325°.
Roll slices of dried beef around each half of chicken breasts.
Arrange in a 13 x 9-inch dish or 3-quart casserole. In a small bowl, combine soup and sour cream.
Pour over chicken. Sprinkle with almonds and bacon bits.
Bake, covered, at 325° for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
