Chicken & Dumplings
Chicken & Dumplings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 small fryer, cooked, removed from bone and cut into bite size pieces, 2 1/2 c. plain white lily flour, 1 tsp. salt, 3 tsp. baking powder and 1/3 c. crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Mix dough.
Roll out to about the same thickness as pie crust, prick dough with fork & cut into 2 inch wide strips then break into pieces about 2 inches long.
Add enough water to broth to make about 2 qts.
Bring broth to boil, add chicken & dumplings & salt & pepper to taste.
This makes enough to serve 8-10 people.
