Chicken Curry
Chicken Curry is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (4 lb.) fowl, cut up, 4 c. water, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. chopped onions and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Simmer chicken 3 to 4 hours or until tender.
Remove chicken and reduce stock to 3 cups.
Cut chicken from bones in fairly large pieces; dredge in flour and lightly brown.
Saute onions in butter.
Add flour and pour in hot stock, stirring constantly. Add raisins, apples, chicken and seasonings.
Simmer about 10 minutes and add cream.
Serve on fluffy rice with curry accompaniments.
