Chicken Chunky Style
Chicken Chunky Style is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. chicken (fryer), cut up, 3 large glasses water, 2 stalks celery, chopped, 2 onions, chopped and 1 green bell pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook all ingredients over low heat about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. When chicken is tender, remove from pot and keep warm.
Mix about 3 tablespoons flour with some chicken broth until thin.
Pour flour mixture back into pot and stir until gravy thickens.
