Chicken Cacciatore
Chicken Cacciatore is an moderately easy dinner. Made with olive oil, chicken (to preference), 1 (28 oz.) can pastene kitchen ready tomatoes, garlic salt and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown chicken pieces in olive oil, season with garlic salt or regular salt.
Remove to a baking dish.
In frying pan add peppers, sliced, with more olive oil and saute.
Then add tomatoes, basil and mushrooms. Mix well.
Flavor with grated cheese and wine.
Mix well and pour over chicken in baking dish.
Cook for 30 to 40 minutes at 350Β° in oven.
Serve with buttered noodles and a green salad.
