Chewy Chocolates
Chewy Chocolates is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. pecan halves, 1/2 lb. soft caramels, 1/2 (4 sq.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled, 12 dates, cut in half and 2 tbsp. heavy cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Place 2 pecan halves and a date in clusters on lightly buttered baking sheets.
Melt caramels and cream in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
Spoon over clusters, leaving ends uncovered.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Spread over caramel mixture.
Makes 2 dozen.
