Combine all dry ingredients and set aside.
Beat margarine, sugar, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy.
Blend in flour mixture.
Stir in chips.
Drop from tablespoon, 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375Β° for about 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Do not overbake.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
