Chestnut Stuffing

Made with 3/4 c. butter or margarine, 8 c. bread cubes, toasted in oven, 5 c. chestnuts (canned or fresh), coarse chopped, 1/3 c. chopped parsley and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
Add onions and saute until tender, but not brown.
Stir remaining ingredients, except broth, over mixture.
