Chess Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs (separate 2 eggs for top), 1 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. flour (rounded), 1/2 c. milk and 1/3 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Melt margarine.

Add sugar, flour and nutmeg.

Beat egg yolks from the 2 eggs with the 1 whole egg and put in dry ingredients. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then bake at 350° until thick.

Beat egg whites until stiff; sweeten.

Put on pie and brown lightly.
