Chess Cake
Chess Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Melt butter in large saucepan.
Remove from heat.
Add sugars and vanilla; blend well.
Add eggs one at a time and blend well between each addition.
Add flour and mix. Stir in nuts.
Pour into a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 40 minutes.
Turn onto wire rack.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cool thoroughly and cut into squares.
