Melt on low heat margarine and brown sugar.
Remove from heat and beat in this order: sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and pecans.
Pour into greased and floured pan.
Bake at 300Β° for 40 to 50 minutes until done.
Cut into bars.
