Cherry Winks
Cherry Winks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. soda, 3/4 c. shortening, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs.
Mix dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.
Add milk and mix well.
Add vanilla, cherries and nuts.
Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° until done.
Cookies can be rolled in cornflakes before baking.
