Cherry Torte
Cherry Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 16 graham crackers, 1/3 c. butter, 1/2 c. sugar (i prefer 1/3 c.), 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Crush crackers; add melted butter and sugar.
Put in baking dish or pie pan; press firmly.
Beat soft cream cheese with mixer. Add 1/2 cup sugar gradually.
Then add eggs and beat at high speed until smooth.
Pour over cracker crust.
Bake at 325Β° for 25 minutes.
Remove and cool.
When cool, add pie filling.
Chill 3 hours or overnight.
