Cherry Topping Cake
Cherry Topping Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 small box regular vanilla pudding, 1 c. milk, 1 3/4 sticks oleo and 1 c. granulated sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
Pour into 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan and bake at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
While cake is baking, prepare pudding using one cup of milk.
Let cool. After pudding and cake are cool, prepare icing.
Cream oleo and sugar for 5 minutes, then add cooled pudding and continue beating for 5 more minutes.
When light and fluffy, ice cake.
Top with cherries, then chopped nuts.
Thickened pineapple can be substituted for cherries.
