Cherry Streusel
Cherry Streusel is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can pitted sour red cherries, undrained, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. skim milk, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine cherries and 1/2 cup sugar in an 8-inch square baking pan, stirring well.
Combine egg white, milk and vanilla, stirring well to blend.
Pour over cherries.
Combine flour and brown sugar in a small bowl, stirring well to mix.
Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Stir in nuts. Sprinkle crumb mixture over top.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm.
