Cherry Squares
Cherry Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks oleo or butter (do not use spread), 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 4 eggs and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream oleo and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Add flour; mix.
Spread 3/4 batter on a greased and floured cookie sheet, 18 x 12 x 1-inch.
Make it a little higher on the sides of the pan.
Spread 2 cans of pie filling over all.
Drop the remaining batter here and there over all.
It spreads and makes its own design when baked.
