Cherry Pudding
Cherry Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 2 tsp. baking powder and 3/4 c. sweet milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 325°.
Melt the butter in a deep baking dish or 12 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
In another dish, mix the sugar, flour, baking powder and sweet milk.
Pour mixture over melted butter.
Do not stir.
Pour the pie cherries (juice and all) over this.
Do not stir.
Pour over this 3/4 cup sugar. Do not stir. Bake in a 325° oven for
1 hour. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Delicious with other fruits also.
