Cherry Pie
Cherry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. black cherry or cherry jello, 1/8 tsp. cinnamon, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. boiling water and 1/2 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Dissolve jello, cinnamon and sugar in boiling water.
Drain cherries, measuring 1/2 cup of the syrup.
Stir into gelatin. Chill until very thick.
Then add cherries and nuts.
Pour into pastry shell.
Chill until firm.
Garnish with prepared Dream Whip or whipped cream, if desired.
