Cherry Jello
Cherry Jello is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. jar maraschino cherries, 3 oz. cherry jello, 1 can jellied cranberry sauce, 3 tbsp. lemon juice and 1 c. whipping cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Drain and chop cherries; save juice and add to water to make 1 1/2 cups.
Heat to boiling and dissolve jello.
Slowly beat in cranberry sauce and 3 tablespoons lemon juice.
Fold in chopped cherries.
Put in square pan and freeze.
Whip cream; add sugar and lemon rind and beat until stiff.
Fold in mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Spread over jello and freeze.
