Cherry Dessert
Cherry Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (2 layer size) white cake mix, 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jell-o, 2 c. hot water, 1 (3 oz.) instant vanilla pudding and 9 oz. cool whip, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Bake cake as directed in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Dissolve Jell-O in hot water.
Pierce cake with large 2 prong utility fork at 1/2 inch intervals.
Spoon Jell-O over cake.
Mix instant vanilla pudding into Cool Whip.
Use pudding (dry) as it comes from box.
Spread Cool Whip mixture over cake.
Spoon on cherry pie filling.
Refrigerate overnight.
Serves 15 to 20.
