Mix Dream Whip according to directions on package.
Pour half of Dream Whip mixture over pecans.
Pour cherry pie filling over whipped cream.
Pour the rest of Dream Whip on top.
Chill overnight.
Sprinkle cracker crumbs on top or pecans.
