Cherry Crunch
Cherry Crunch is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 22 graham crackers, crushed, 1/3 c. sugar, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 stick margarine, melted and 1 can cherries, sweetened to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine crumbs, sugar, cinnamon and margarine.
Reserve 3/4 cup for top.
Press remaining mixture in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, covering sides and bottom.
Heat flour and cherries until thickened.
Pour over crumb-lined dish.
Top with meringue made from egg whites.
Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.
Bake at 275Β° for 35 minutes.
Serve with ice cream, if desired.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
