Cherry Crumb Dessert
Cherry Crumb Dessert is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, chilled, 1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix, 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling and 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
In a mixing bowl, cut butter into cake mix as for pastry dough.
Set aside 1 cup.
Pat remaining crumbs onto the bottom and 1/2-inch up the sides of a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
Spread pie filling over crust.
Combine walnuts with remaining crumb mixture; sprinkle over top.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
