Cherry Crisp

Heat cherries and sugar together.
Add a few drops of red food coloring.
Pour into 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Combine oats, brown sugar, flour and salt; cut in butter.
Add pecans. Sprinkle mixture over cherries.
Bake in moderate oven at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream and ice cream.
