Cherry Cream Delight
Cherry Cream Delight is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 egg whites, beaten, 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar, 2 c. white sugar, 2 c. soda crackers, broken in small pieces and 3/4 c. chopped nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Add cream of tartar to the beaten egg whites; beat until stiff and gradually add white sugar and beat until peaks form.
Fold in soda crackers.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Put in a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350Β°.
Cool until cold. Mix Dream Whip with no sugar.
Put over cracker mixture and cover with thickened cherries.
Let stand 4 to 5 hours.
