Cherry Cake
Cherry Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. crisco, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 c. + 2 tbsp. milk or buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix Crisco, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and vinegar.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Pour into 8 x 12-inch greased and lightly floured pan.
Dot top of cake mix with cherry pie filling before baking.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 minutes.
Makes 16 servings.
