Cherry Berry Slush
Cherry Berry Slush is an easy dinner. Made with 12 oz. pkg. frozen red raspberries, or 1 1/2 c. fresh raspberries, 24 oz. can frozen lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled, lime slices (optional), 1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries, or 2 c. fresh pitted dark sweet cherries and 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Thaw frozen fruit; do not drain.
Place raspberries in a blender container and smooth.
Strain and discard seeds.
Transfer strained berries medium mixing bowl.
Place cherries in blender, add apple juice concentrate. Cover and blend smooth.
Combine the berries in mixing bowl.
Transfer mixture to freezing container.
Cover and freeze overnight or up to 2 months.
For each 10 ounce serving, scrape across frozen slush mixture and spoon about 3/4 cup into chilled 10 ounce tumbler.
Slowly pour in 4 ounces of the lemon-lime carbonated beverage.
Stir gently to mix.
Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
