Cherry Berry Slush
Cherry Berry Slush is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 2 hours 10 minutes. Made with . pkg. frozen red raspberries, or 1 1/2 c. fresh raspberries, . can frozen lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled, lime slices (optional), (16 oz.) pkg. frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries, or 2 c. fresh pitted dark sweet cherries and (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Thaw frozen fruit; do not drain.
Place raspberries in a blender container and blend until smooth.
Strain and discard seeds.
Transfer strained berries medium mixing bowl.
Place cherries in blender, add apple juice concentrate. Cover and blend until smooth.
Combine the berries in mixing bowl.
Transfer fruit mixture to freezing container.
Cover and freeze overnight or up to 2 months.
For each 10 ounce serving, scrape spoon across frozen slush mixture and spoon about 3/4 cup into chilled 10 ounce tumbler.
Slowly pour in 4 ounces of the lemon-lime carbonated beverage.
Stir gently to mix.
Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
