Cherokee Casserole
Cherokee Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 3/4 c. bermuda onion, chopped, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and dash of pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Brown meat in olive oil; add onion and cook over medium heat until onion is tender.
Stir in seasonings, tomatoes, soup and rice.
Add half of olive slices; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into baking dish.
Top with cheese strips and remaining olive slices.
Bake until heated through and cheese is melted.
Bake at 350Β° for approximately 30 minutes.
