Cheesy Potato Surprise
Cheesy Potato Surprise is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium potatoes, 1 tsp. vegetable oil, 3 tbsp. italian bread crumbs, 1 tbsp. olive oil and 1/2 c. 2% milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cut potatoes into chunks and boil until tender.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Take 1 teaspoon oil and oil 9 x 12 x 1-inch pan. Sprinkle pan with bread crumbs.
Drain potatoes and in large bowl add olive oil and mash potatoes.
Add milk, egg, tomato paste and garlic.
Stir in cheese.
Place in 9 x 12 x 1-inch (or so) pan, making it as level as possible.
Sprinkle extra bread crumbs across top to make crust.
Bake 40 minutes.
Cool 15.
This is an excellent variation of mashed potatoes.
