Cheeseburger Pie
Cheeseburger Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell, 8 slices processed american cheese, 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1/2 c. tomato sauce and 1/3 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Preheat oven to 425°.
Bake pie shell 8 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Reduce oven to 350°.
Cut 6 slices cheese into pieces.
In large skillet, brown meat; pour off fat.
Add tomato sauce, pepper, onion and bouillon.
Cook and stir until bouillon dissolves.
Remove from heat; stir in eggs, flour and cheese pieces.
Turn into prepared shell.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Arrange remaining cheese slices on top.
Return to oven for 3 minutes.
Garnish with tomato and lettuce, if desired.
