Cheese Straws
Cheese Straws is an easy dinner. Made with 3 1/2 c. flour, 3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp. salt, 3/4 lb. butter and 1 lb. sharp cheese, shredded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Sift flour, add salt and butter in large bowl.
Cut butter in and blend into dry ingredients until you get crumbs.
Add cheese and continue blending until it hangs together and no longer crumbles.
Work 1/4 at a time and roll out in a rectangle 1/3-inch thick and cut into strips (or you can use a pastry press).
Put on baking sheet and bake at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes, only until lightly browned.
Cool and store in airtight tins placing wax paper between layers.
Yields about 125 strips.
