Cheese Straws
Cheese Straws is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. cracker barrel sharp cheese (red foil wrapper), 1 stick butter, 1 tsp. salt, 2 c. plain flour, unsifted and 1/4 tsp. red pepper or cayenne pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Grate cheese and butter.
Mix in flour, salt and pepper to form a soft dough.
Using the small star design of a crank-type cookie press, press the individual cheese straws onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350Β° until straws are hard.
If cheese straws spread out too much when cooked, add a little more flour for a firmer dough.
