Cheese Rounds
Cheese Rounds is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. shredded cheddar, 1/4 lb. softened butter, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/2 c. flour and 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix together cheese, butter, salt and nuts.
Gradually stir in flour.
Blend well but don't overmix.
Turn out onto wax paper and shape into roll approximately 1 1/2 inch in diameter.
Wrap in plastic or wax paper and chill several hours.
Slice in quarter-inch pieces.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 325Β° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned at edges.
Makes 5 1/2 dozen.
