Cheese Puffs
Cheese Puffs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. water, 1/4 c. margarine, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose) and 1/4 c. finely grated cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine water and margarine in pan.
Bring to a boil; add salt and flour all at once.
Remove from heat and stir until mixture is stiff enough to form a ball.
Add cheese and mix well.
Beat in 1 egg at a time until mixture is velvety smooth.
Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Shape into balls (about 1-inch) and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400Β° for 18 to 20 minutes.
This will make 25 to 30 puffs.
When cooled, slice and stuff with chicken, turkey, ham or shrimp salad.
