Cheese Pudding
Cheese Pudding is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. grated american cheese, 1 1/2 c. saltine cracker crumbs (approximately 36 crackers), 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar chopped pimento, 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped and 3 c. white sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
To make white sauce, put 6 tablespoons butter or margarine in a saucepan and heat until melted.
Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour, slowly stirring to make a smooth paste.
Return to heat and slowly add 3 cups milk while stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
