Cheese Logs
Cheese Logs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. soft butter, 2 tsp. hot water, 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp. curry powder and 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Whip butter in electric mixer 2 minutes, adding hot water gradually.
Add flour, mixing to make soft dough.
Stir in cheese and curry.
Chill until stiff enough to handle.
On floured board, roll dough into logs 1/2-inch in diameter, cut into 2-inch pieces. Brush with beaten egg, roll in sesame or poppy seed and place 1-inch apart on greased baking pan.
Bake at 375Β° for 12 minutes or until firm.
